Crexi is built for bidding. We're built for sourcing.
Crexi's wedge is the auction marketplace, a fast lane for buying listed product. CRE Finder's wedge is the opposite: finding the 90%+ of commercial properties that will never see a listing, so you can call the owner before they call a broker.
Crexi vs CRE Finder · Coverage
Crexi Intelligence is real ownership data, but the headline product is the auction marketplace. CRE Finder is parcel data first, ownership data second, built around the question 'who owns this and how do I reach them' not 'what's for sale this week.'
Crexi vs CRE Finder · Workflow
If your job is to win an auction, Crexi's UX is built for that. If your job is to source off-market and dial the principal, the auction marketplace is noise, and CRE Finder is built to skip it entirely.
When Crexi is the better choice
Crexi does a few things meaningfully better. The honest list:
Crexi's auction marketplace is the largest in CRE. If a portion of your deal flow is bid-style acquisition (note sales, distressed, court-ordered, brokered auctions), Crexi is where that lives. We don't auction anything.
Crexi's seller-side workflow (listing, marketing, auction setup) is purpose-built. CRE Finder is not a listing platform. If you're disposing of assets, list them on Crexi.
Crexi tracks broker activity, deal velocity by firm, and asking-price-to-sale-price compression. That's a real research dataset we don't replicate.
Source the deals before they hit the auction block.
